Just got a huge envelope from Toyota with URGENT red lettering all over the cover regarding an updated load carrying capacity modification label I have to put on the car. A car we've had less than 6 months, mind you. The thick envelope contained 2 pages of instructions for installing the bright yellow sticker on the door jamb of the car. I look at the sticker and it says
CAUTION: LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY REDUCED
Modifications to this vehicle have reduced the original load carrying capacity by
Weight (LBS) 2 Weight (KGS) 1
Are you SERIOUS???? 2 pounds???? My car can now carry 2 pounds less than before, and they have to send out this kind of warning? OOOOHHHHHH - better not get those 2 extra pounds of butter at the grocer - might put me over the edge and make me crash.
Well. This is awkward.

And you know they have to do that because some dingbat sued them for the inability to carry those extra pounds of butter.
You're probably right, Jill, but now it has me wondering- do I need to have a breast reduction to keep under the weight limit?
Good thing Keri has been losing so much weight...
Oh and how's this for funny - the security word at the bottom is "moron"!!
Don't you just love beaucracy at work?
Sounds like something our Jefferson County Commission would do.
New post please...pretty please....
