I've been pondering things that make little or no sense to me.
1. People who smoke while riding motorcycles. They look like their faces are on fire - and can't possibly be enjoying themselves.
2. People who try to leash walk cats. The question here is, do you realize this is a cat?
3. Carrot cake. Why are you putting something like a carrot into a dessert item? Ew.
I took the mastiff puppy (11 months old, 130 lbs) to the vet last night for her bordatella booster. She was absolutely terrified of everyone, everything etc. There was a tiny labrador puppy (maybe 4 lb dog) that had her trembling in horror. It's tough when you have the mental age of a puppy in the body of a mammoth. The ride home from the vet was entertaining - rush hour traffic with a very drooly mammoth in the back of the car and head out of the windows. I got more looks than a nudist beekeeper.
A fire alarm went off at work this morning, so we all went trudging out to the parking lot to stand in the heat while they "explored the building". Never a dull moment. One of the physicians is learning how to juggle, and he was standing out there with 5 soft balls apparently trying to see how many times he could bend over to pick them up.
Oh, and Jill - I read your blog about quirks and have realized one about myself. If I'm eating chips or fries, I always eat the small ones or pieces first, stacking the whole ones or big ones off to the side. I sort them by size, and work my way up to the big ones. Not sure what that signifies.
That's about all the excitement in my life currently. If any of you have any "things that make you go, 'Hmmmm'", share.
Well. This is awkward.

I did notice that I thought "hmmmm" when reading your "quirk" about the fries. I must say I have never heard of that one. But own it like you love it is all I have to say about that! Also, the thing about the cat on a leash has given me some ideas - hmmmmm....
Quirks, me?
Oh Mollie... where are you???
