Tired dogs are a good thing

We went to visit our friend Laura on Sunday and took Lola and Killian. (Allie and Murphy are too old to hike). Laura took her too dogs and we took our two and went for a brief hike (approximately 1 mile). Lola acted like a total freak on the leash despite her perfect performances at puppy class for the past 4 weeks. In fact, she wore herself out completely and then slept all the way home in the car, and slept all evening. She was almost too tired to eat her dinner - kept falling asleep standing next to the dish. Life's tough when you're a 78 lb 6 month old mastiff baby dog. So we've started taking Killian and Lola out after work to a local track and walking them - hoping to work on her leash skills. If you take Lola, you'd better take Killian, or suffer the consequences. It's good exercise for them, and excellent total body exercise for us. If you don't believe me, YOU try hanging onto a couple of leashes with 140 lbs of dog trying to maneuver around to sniff, be the first to pee on, and bark at everything while being in the lead dog position.
Phew.

Mollie, I have some zyrtec. I'll start that instead. Now TYler has it. He has never had it before. I'm pretty sure Mark is picking you up at the airport. One of us will be there!

Hey, we ARE thinking about Eva. We really like Susannah though. Do you think Eva Susannah has too many A sounds in it? I know it doesn't really matter, but I will be saying it a LOT for the next 40-50 years (hopefully)!

I like Eva Susannah - and what do you think about Eva Madeline?
